Jackson Hole, WyomingIn winter, a snow swept landscape offers some of the best skiing and snowmobiling in the country. Jackson Hole Resort or "The Village" is a world-famous ski mountain that offers exceptional conditions for skiers of all ability levels. "The Village" also provides excellent terrain for nordic and back country skiers. Snow King Resort or "Town Hill" rises just south of the town of Jackson and offers convenient access to a variety of ski trails. The best part of Snow King is the 2 hour ski pass-anytime of day! Thirty minutes north of Jackson are entrances to a massive network of snowmobile trails. Snowmobilers can ride along mountains of the continental divide or follow a trail that winds through Grand Teton National Park. Guided tours of Yellowstone National Park are available on a limited basis through our affiliated tour operators. The majestic landscape of Jackson Hole is truly unique. A neverending plateau runs to the North with the rugged Rocky Mountains to the East and the amazing peaks of the Tetons to the West. Grand Teton National Park surrounds the area protecting a landscape that is considered a teenager in geological terms. The "young" mountains of the Tetons, first made famous by photographer Ansel Adams in 1942, stand as the signature setting of the Jackson Hole landscape. Huge "cathedral" peaks over 10,000 feet rise straight up from the 6,000 feet floor of the surrounding plateau. Winter or Summer- the views in Jackson Hole are majestic!
