August 20-21, 2011  Irish Celtic Festival

Join us on our annual camping trip to the Irish Celtic Festivall weekend this summer.  The annual trip to Hunter Mountain in August is always a good time with fun, food, dancing, hiking, biking, swimming, ziplines and plenty of cool music and beer at the Irish Celtic Festival right at the base of Hunter Mountain Resort. The International Celtic Festival brings you the sights and sounds of the Emerald Isles. World-class musicians from Ireland and North America perform on three stages, with plenty of variety to suit any taste. Sunday features a Bagpipe Competition, followed by the spectacular Mass March as hundreds of pipers and drummers march down the mountain in unison. After the Mass March, the entire procession will play as one at the base of the mountain - it's a spine-tingling sight that is not to be missed.

Our campsite is at a beautiful New York State Preserve right across from Colgate Lake in East Jewitt, New York just North of Tannersville.  Colgate Lake is a gorgouse damn created lake and a famous swimming and fishing spot with the locals.
