"Eco-Adventure Tour"

DarwinLammer LawEco-Adventure

Surrounded by the Pacific Ocean some 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands sit astride a complex set of ocean currents and trade winds generated from both sides of the equator.  Although the islands are located directly on the equator, the water can be range from 68 to 78 degrees and you will often feel the changes in temperature with the upwelling of the deep ocean currents.  Visibility of 100 feet plus is not uncommon and conditions can change quickly, enhancing the exotic waters.  The marine life in the Galapagos is unusually comfortable with divers.  Whale sharks, schooling hammerhead sharks, Galapagos and Silky sharks, manta rays, eagle rays, abundant reef fish, sea lions, dolphins, sting rays, golden rays, invertebrates, morays, garden eels, turtles, marine iguanas, whales, and a multitude of other pelagic creatures add up to just the tip of the vast life underwater.  There are few other places left in the world where an entire archipelago is virtually free of commercial fishing, leaving the waters left to those who choose to swim and watch the action unfold in the deep, clean waters of the Pacific. The crew of the Lammer Law includes experienced Divemasters who guide our dives and assist with the needs of the diver to make this the most enjoyable dive trip of a lifetime.  Each day we’ll make three or four dives in different locations, dropping in from Zodiac boats and enjoying the show as the currents carry the sea life past us.  Several night dives will be included during the course of the journey, as well as some cavern exploration.  Four or five days will be spent at Wolf and Darwin Islands, the most dramatic dive sites in the Galapagos, and the greatest areas for close-up encounters with whale sharks.

"The Galapagos trip was amazing beyond amazing. We saw a whale  shark on every one of our dives up at wolf and darwin islands.  Tons of  sharks and manta rays, sea lions and turtles"
