Basic SCUBA Diving Lessons


PADI SCUBA diving lessons are offered as a standard for our educational curriculum.  PADI (The Professional Association of Dive Instructors) is the largest and most recognized certifying SCUBA organization in the world. Below is a list of our basic courses and pricing schedule.All course prices include the cost of facility fees and boat charters in Key Largo, Florida*

Open Water (entry level)                                                    $475

The Standard Open Water Diver course provides the student with the skills and knowledge needed to safely enjoy scuba diving.  The certification allows you to scuba dive within your personal and training limits without supervision. The course consists of three parts:

  • confined water sessions
  • knowledge review sessions
  • open water check out dives

         Three day course: 4 Open Water Dives (Self-Study required)

Advanced Open Water                                                          $375

This course is ideal for the novice as well as the experienced diver.
The course stresses practical application rather than heavy theory to broaden the diver's awareness of the environment, and enhance diving skills over five dives: Navigation, Deep, and three "elective" dives.

Prerequisites:  PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent certification

           Two day course with five dives

Refresher Course                                                                             

Designed for the Certified Diver who has not been diving in more than one year, or for those who feel that a review of basic skills would enhance their Diving enjoyment.

         Half day course (confined water only)              $75.00

         Full day course (confined water and 2 dives)   $175.00

Rescue Diver (new PADI version) + DAN O2                      $475

The Rescue Diver Course expands the diver's knowledge and skills to more effectively deal with matters of personal safety and to lend assistance to other divers.   The DAN O2 Provider Course teaches the proper administration of Oxygen with the DAN Oxygen Kit. This course consists of classroom, confined water and open water dives

Prerequisites: PADI Advanced Open Water or equivalent certification

  • Current first aid & CPR certification 
    ( PADI Emergency First Responder course covers both )
     Three to Four day course with five dives

Master Scuba Diver                                                       $30 application fee

This certification denotes that you've reached the highest recreational diver level in the PADI System of diver education.  Divers must be PADI Rescue Diver certified with current CPR certification (EFR recommended), and certified in five PADI Specialties and have logged at least 50 dives.

Divemaster                                                                             $795

The Divemaster course is the first step towards becoming a diving professional. 

The course consists of three modules:

  •   In water stamina and skills assessment
  •   Knowledge development
  •   Practical application.

This course teaches the candidate to safely and effectively
conduct and supervise a number of diving activities, and
prepares the individual for the Instructor Development Course.

Prerequisites:

  • PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent certification
  • Current first aid & CPR certification
    (PADI Emergency First Responder course covers both )
  • Course length is flexible based on individual needs of students

*All course textbooks are sold separately.  All PADI courses require signed medical releases, statements of understanding and waivers.
